I've been pretty silent in life and internet recently. Mostly because of a massive project I am working on right now for a client. It is a network of sites under the heading DreamRevolutions which will seek to be an all-encompassing resource hub for artists and visionary souls. The first node is ready for the public - or, at least for beta testing.
It is the community and news site titled Metagnosis. To sum it up in one sentence: Metagnosis is a community dedicated to the idea of revolution through coevolution. It will be the central repository of a community, with plans for a user-run gallery, downloadable resources, and the support of other like-minded individuals. The main topics that the site will revolve around are politics, art, ecology, do-it-yourself projects, entheogens, memetic hazards, magic, goddess wisdom, and the drive for enlightenment - gnosis.More information will be forthcoming as the site reaches public launch. But currently, we are seeking beta-testers and contributers. Meet Callicebus caquetensis: a new species of titi monkey that has been discovered in the Amazon.
The monkey was found in a region called Caquetá, in the south of Colombia, which had been inaccessible for many years due to a violent insurgence.
About the size of a cat, the Caquetá titi has grey-brown hair and makes an extremely complex call. Unusually for a primate, it forms lifelong monogamous pairs.
It is thought that there are less than 250 Caquetá titis in the wild, thanks to the destruction of their forest habitats, meaning they are critically endangered.
The discovery is described in the journal Primate Conservation.
