Enoch 1.4.15.1 theme released for CyanogenMod 4.2.15.1 on Android

Enoch is a clean, simple, and dark theme for Android. It sports a transparent lockscreen, sticker icons by David Lanham, and custom smilies. Smooth lines, no over-glossing, and blue highlights are the signature – making this theme easy on the eyes. You can discuss this thread in the comments here, or head over to the thread on XDA Devlopers. Suggestions, comments, complaints, and bug reports are encouraged!

First off I need to thank Cyanogen. Without this awesome programmer sacrificing his time, talent, and energy; I wouldn't have a mod worthy of theming.

JesusFreke gets thanks for bringing us quality, stable ROMs and theme templates. Stericson is the best - tutorials, graphics, theme hacks...he mostly did it all first; pushed the limits of what we can do and shared it for all.

File hosting provided by yosho and the awesome Slicehost. Thanks so much for helping me get the product to the people.

Thanks also go to brandenk, cytown, Ted417, rogro82, Meltus, huanyu, rgv151, MOONSSPOON, ultra spikey, tehseano, Dizzy Drake, Manup, xidominicanoix, irrenhaus, Loccy, jcowan, kaddygoodness, freekyfroggy and tons and tons of other awesome XDA Developers who sacrifice for our toys. If I missed you, and am using something of yours - PLEASE let me know...I am grateful.

To Install:

  1. Make sure and have the correct CyanogenMod version flashed already for the Enoch version you are installing - make sure you have already loaded up your flashed CyanogenMod to make sure it is working properly before flashing Enoch
  2. Transfer the zip to the root of your SDcard
  3. Flash using Cyanogen of Amon_Ra's recovery mods
  4. Reboot
  5. Enjoy!

This is mostly cobbled from everyone else, but there are still some original tweaks. Any recommendations, suggestions, bug reports, etc would be awesome! I will hear everyone out, and make the best decisions I can. Would like to keep this theme clean, simple, and dark.

Enoch and EnochX are compatible with the CyanogenMod Updater. If you want to receive automatic updates through that, go to your Settings, and then Theme Server, and scan the following barcode:

or, just add http://drpfenderson.japanties.org/update_file.json as the server address.

Hey, looking AWESOME! before i'm installing, is there support for hebrew fonts?
Thanks.
Dec 27, 2009
There is, as long as your Android has that support - and you may need to use the Font Reversion package that I link to.

can you please port this to dwang 1.17?
Dec 27, 2009

I will not be porting to Dwang's any time soon due to legal issues. Dwang's mod violates copyright and intellectual property rights. CyanogenMod does not.
I would like to error on the side of legality.

i would like to ask if there is anyway that I can use your theme except the icons....I saw that metamorph was part of the title on xda, I've never used it but I heard people say you can mix elements of more than one theme with it. All I want to do is not use the icons youve included. Is there a simple way to do that? No offense just like the android 2.0 Icons better
Jan 16, 2010
budgetkuts - Sure! Feel free to use it. All you have to do is flash my Metamorph, and then flash the Android 2.0 icons.

I try flashing Enoch through Amon_Ra's recovery mods it boots up fine but once it gets to the lock screen, the phone just keeps rebooting. Sometimes I can get passed the lock screen but doesnt last more then 5 minutes.

A - You need to unzip framework-res.apk, navigate to the assets/images folder, and replace the boot image with your own. Be aware, the image must have transparency in the parts you want the "shine" image to shine through.
Then, just rezip, sign, and flash!

MiiSz - Can you pastebin me a logcat or log of the crash? Also, try reflashing CM, and THEN flash my theme again. Sounds like you have an app problem.

Awesome theme, first one I actually prefer to the original look...
Also, the new font gets my vote, I prefer it by far to the original Android font.
Major kudos :)

I really love how nice and clean your theme is. Would it be possible to get a dark red version? (Maybe somewhere between #990000 and #660000.) I have a merlot MT3G so the blue clashes a bit but I love your theme so much. The other themes I've seen so far that use red are too bright/garish for my taste.
