As some of you are aware, I experienced a moment of idiocy whilst upgrading my computer. I accidently overwrote my home folder with an ext4 partition. This idiot move cost me:

    • ALL progress I had made on my Nexus One theme
    • ALL progress I had made with my SuperD theme
    • Any new changes with my Enoch regular theme
    • ALL automation scripts I was using for theming

Luckily, the SuperD progress was easy to fix. The Nexus One issues are not. I am having to start from square one with that. Also, the lack of my automation scripts and shortcuts are costing me a lot of time and menial work.

If anyone knows RegEx+Bash, and is willing to spend some time helping this fool - I would be grateful. I'm trying to recreate a script that allows me to zip the CONTENTS of a folder, rename the zip, move the zip to the previous (..) folder, run a .jar on the zip, delete the original, and rename the new result. Would also be helpful if I could tack some of my current signing/optimization scripts on to it, and get visual feedback for progress.

I know that's a lot, but it seriously save me roughly 45 minutes every release I make. That time adds up.

I'm still working hard on making sure that this theme gets released on all the platforms that I said it would, but it will take a little time to catch up. Thanks for the patience.

So, I finally got IntenseDebate commenting working again on my in.sight Tumblr. Woo! After the theme change, ID was broken. But now that it's working again, I figured out the Posterous posting dilemma.I will be posting to Posterous, which will post to Tumblr - but not link back for comments. IntenseDebate comments will appear on the Tumblr post so I can just keep the discussion there. I can also keep meta-tags and keywords (yay!). Posterous embeds a whole ton of media formats in a really nifty way - a little cleaner than the way that Tumblr handles embeds. So it shows up all neat on Tumblr. Good combo.

Posterous is such a nifty little tool. Thanks awesome Posterous people! Makes it much easier to repost to Flickr too.
